Why choose us

We offer a stimulating little nursery-like setting for your child to learn through play in a loving home environment. It is most important to us that your child feels safe and secure as this forms the foundation for a happy and relaxed child ready to learn and explore.

We prepare every day fresh breakfast, home made food, healthy snack and Dinner. You will receive a menu of what your child will eat with us.

We are very lucky to have a fantastic 250 m2 outdoor area, which we use everyday, with a big trampoline, balancing bikes, gymnastics bar, cars, scooters, water games, sand pit, …

At least twice a week we have special days out, liked with the topic of that month we will go horse riding in Richmond Park, to the theatre, the National History museum, the Science Museum, a trip in a boat by the River Thames, In the London Eye, Hampton Court, Kew Gardens, and many more.

Parents communication

We use an online system which facilitates working in partnership with parents and careers in order to communicate efficiently about important matters concerning your child.

Tapestry enables us to build a very special record of your child’s experiences and journey through their early years, using this online learning journal designed and developed specifically for the Early Years Foundation Stage. Using photos, videos and diary entries, together we ‘weave’ the story of how your child progresses in their learning and development. The Tapestry platform then works seamlessly to enable these memories to be kept as a permanent record of each child’s unique life. All information held in the platform is kept securely, and can be downloaded and shared as required. Parents are able to view their child’s progress, and how much fun they’re having – online, through the platform as we share their observations. Parents can also upload their own thoughts and comments and we always welcome this.
The communication between the child’s parents and yourself that Tapestry enables, helps us build a shared understanding of how every child can reach their full potential.

You will take part in your child’s day by receiving pictures of your child’s daily experiences.

Children’s daily activities and creations are valued through discussions, displays and recognition. We inform parents each day about what their children have been doing to enable parents to discuss and share these experiences with their child.

Daily routine

We believe that routines are important because they give children a sense of security and control over their environment. Children learn what to expect at various times in the day and as they begin to participate in these routines, they will experience a sense of control and satisfaction at being able to perform part of or all of the tasks associated with the routine. But always understanding that different ages demand different routines, and that every child is different.

Some of the important skills children learn through routines include: self control, positive behaviour and social skills.

We are flexible but we could say this is our routine, if we are not in a lovely day out.
